The Battle of Manila is the battle for the reconquest of Manila from the Japanese. The Battle ended on March 3, 1945, resulting in 16,000 Japanese deaths, 6,000 American deaths and 100,000 Filipino deaths, majority of them are non-combatants. Oh yes, that is the reason why some of the old Landmarks and Buildings I usually mention here in my blog is missing now.
