My thesis so far is about walkability measurement and improvement. I’ve read about a research done for selected Asian Cities. Be surprised, Metro Manila’s sidewalks and pedestrian transportation scored in the “pasang-awa” level. This is good considering that the big wigs from China and India scored relatively lower in this test. It means we have facilities for pedestrians to walk safely though we still need more improvement.

In the other hand the study ranks these areas from the most walkable to the least walkable districts: Commercial Districts, Residential Districts, Educational Districts and Public Transport Terminal Areas for all Asian Cities Surveyed. The last 2 two districts should be improved because most of the walks occur here.

PS: This is what you get in doing the research for your thesis. Relevant right?
